Eligibility For Sub Inspector of Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board Vacancy 2018
Age Limit
i) The applicant must have completed the age 20 years and not more than 28 years as on 1st July 2018 (The exact dates born on or after 01.7.1990 and on or before 01.07.1198).ii) Age Relaxation
a) Upper age limit 30 years for BC/BC Muslim/MBC/Denotified community
b) Upper age limit 33 years for SC, SC(Arunthathiyar), ST
c) Upper age 45 years for Ex-servivemen/Ex-personneel of central para-miliary forces
d) 45 years max age for police departmental candidates appearing for 20% departmental quota exam
Education Qualification
i) Applicant should posses minimum 2nd class Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering awarded by State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu
OR
Engineering Degree (BE/BTech) in Electronics and Communication engineering by All India Council for Technical Education
ii) Applicant must have passed Diploma/Degree certificate before the last date of notification i.e 11 July 2018
a) The Diploma should have been completed after passing of SSLC or Higher Secondary course and
b) Degree should have been completed after passing of SSLC and HSC or Diploma
c) Degree should have been passed after achievement of SSLC and three years Diploma
iii) Applicant should have studied Tamil as Subject in X/XII. If not studied, candidates will have to pass the Tamil-part ii test held by TNPSC within 2 years of joining the service
