Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions Authority has released TNEA Counselling 2018 Procedure for B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch degree courses Admission, Registration of Application, Choice Filling and Seat Allotment details on TNEA website www.tnea.ac.in TNEA announced Rank List for Counselling process dates will intimate to Check Login site. TNEA is the process through more than 1.5 lakhs engineering aspirants get themselves enrolled into engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu. The counselling is for the seats of Anna University, Govt/Government aided Colleges, Seats surrendered by Other Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Registration of Application Procedure
Candidate seeking admission to first year BE/BTech Degree course under Single window Admission System (TNEA2018) should apply online for registration on website www.annauniv.edu or www.tnea.ac.in only. Candidates can use the facilitation centers (TFC) have been established in selected cities. The candidate has to fill up the details in application form; candidate can give their preference of TFC for certificates verification. The applicants should take a printout of the same has to be submitted with recent passport size photo affixed at the place printed during original certificates verification at TFC on specified date. An email and SMS will also sent to the registered candidate.
For registration process Start Candidate has to ready with these details
Mobile phone number, E-mail ID, Xth mark sheet, +2 Hall ticket, School details, Community, Aadhar card, Parent annual income details, for paying fee credit card/debit card/net banking, should give option weather she want to avail, the candidate should exercise their option whether he/she is applying for seats reserved under special reservation
Registration Fee
For General category Rs.500
For SC/SCA/ST category belonging to Tamil Nadu – Rs.250
For each special reservation category Rs.100
Certificate Verification
All Original and photocopies of documents singed hard copy of registered application obtained successfully should be produced at the time of certificate verification at TNEA Facilitation Center (TFC)
1) 10th Mark Sheet
2) HSC or an equivalent Mark sheet
3) HSC Hall Ticket
4) Transfer Certificate (TC)
5) Community Certificate for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM
6) Nativity Certificate only in electronic form or digitally signed e-Certificate
7) First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration
8) Srilankan Tamil Refugee certificate (if applicable)
9) Relevant Ex-Servicemen Son/Daughter certificate if applicable
Choice Filling and Confirmation
Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in relevant subjects, namely, maths, physics and chemistry which will be reduced to 200. The Overall rank is prepared based on merit list with the defined procedure for tie-break. The Overall rank and community rank will be published in the official TNEA web portal.

Counselling
The applicants will be grouped based on their rank and each group of applicants will be allowed to participate in counselling according to their turn. TNEA will have five rounds of counselling. The applicant has to login in the TNEA portal by using user ID and password
Publication of eligible applicants: The list of eligible candidates for a particular round will be published in the TNEA website
Payment: Applicant should pay the initial deposit Rs.5000 for General category and Rs.1000 for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu
Adding Choices: After successful completion of payment, Those applicants in the current round and choices to their list to be considered for allotment by using the TNEA portal. Three days are provided to enter choices from the commencement of round
Allocation of Seats
Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC,SCA and ST Rules of Reservation of Govt of Tamil Nadu as follows. Tamil Nadu native candidates along will be considered for communal reservation. The Community recorded in the certificate of TN native candidate should appear in the list of communities approved by The Govt of Tamil Nadu
